As managing director of Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA), Hsiao-Wuen Hon leads a 10-year-old organization that is the software giant's flagship research arm in the region, responsible for some 350 researchers and engineers. Marriott tells the reporter that Bill Marriott's CEO blog is responsible for $4 million in bookings on the main site. "That's not a huge amount given Marriott's sales, which are in the billions.
